Educational Qualifications & Experience             

·         Bachelors in Pharma / Medicine from a reputable institution with an MBA with  5- 8 years of relevant experience

Skill set for this Position

·         Individual with a collaborative mindset, good team player.

·         Ability to achieve targets within timelines.

·         Excellent communication & presentation skills.

·         Proficient with numbers and calculations.

·         Good analytical skills.

Age bracket:

40 years maximum

Job Responsibilities

·         The primary objective of this position is to support the Business development projects and processes to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth using viable business development methods. This involves undertaking tactical actions and preparing feasibility studies aligned to the strategic plans for business development projects (e.g. new product launches, acquisitions, toll manufacturing, in-licensing and co-promotions etc., amongst others)

·         Develop a tactical action plan (with milestones & timelines) to identify and pursue new business opportunities with particular focus in the Branded Generic, New Pharmaceutical Molecules etc. aligned with the Business Development strategy

·         Manage the process of identification of products, brands and / or molecules for acquisition, In-licensing, Outsourcing, Exchange, Sale, Co-promotion/ co-marketing.

·         To support project management of NPI projects

·         To help strategize, prioritize, write and implement business development plans related to brand/product acquisition, brand in licensing or co-promotion agreements, company acquisition, product exchange or sale.

·         Support development of Future Product Portfolio (Product Line, Product Width, and Product Depth) and its management and analysis.

·         Make feasibility and product launch planning of new potential molecules to be introduced for the local markets.

·         Make reports/proposals and present to management for their feedback/approval on new products and new partnerships.

·         Establish and maintain contacts with new potential research & manufacturing companies to develop partnerships and strategic alliances both locally and internationally.

·         To coordinate and respond to requests for quotes and facilitate in the execution of CDA and Supply Agreements.

·         To gather primary and secondary sales data for relevant markets and provide analysis for therapeutic classes for NPI projects including pre-work for any potential projects.
