Longhouse Meeting notes 7/28

Good Evening everyone, 

Here are the notes from our meeting 

1.) Guides/Princesses Picnic kickoff is August 24th from 4-6pm.  We will be providing 150 drinks and water along with Coolers and Ice. Let's get the word out to our tribes about the picnic and try to bring as many dads as we can to the event. This is a big recruiting event to help kick off the year. 

2.) Fall Camp dates are OCTOBER 10th - 12th. It looks like we will be sharing the main campgrounds with Oakwood but will still be in the main part of Kern. Please let all dads know asap about Fall dates. 

3.) We still need a nation scout for this year. If we plan to continue growing the nation, having a scout will be key. See if anyone is interested in this role. 

4.) Canoeing is August 9th at 10am. Please make sure everyone knows about this. 

5.) Events this year will be 

• August 9th- Canoeing
• August 24th- Princess/Guides Picnic
• September 14th- Bowling
• October 10-12th- Fall Camp out
• November- Skateworld
• December - Nova 
• January- Bull Riding
• February- Tubing
• March- Laser Web 
• April- Spring Camp out
• May- Rocket Launch
