that I am unable to answer because I am also learning ...

I share this video of a substantial scholarly interview with Ilan Pappe' on the situation

in the State of Israel and its relationship to Palestine. Pappe' is

said to be a respected (albeit controversial) Israeli historian

who has been working for some time on trying to understand

and face the present by deeply and carefully studying the past

while trying to discern its implications for the future ...
