Greed (also known as avarice or covetousness) is one of the traditional seven DEADLY sins
In Roman Catholic theology, greed is defined as an immoderate, selfish desire for earthly possessions, wealth, power, or fame. It is categorized alongside pride, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and slot.
Unfortunately, the rich turn a deaf ear to any reproach of their passion to acquire more at the expense of the poor. They control so many legislatures around the globe! The six GEM-FS conversions or turnarounds are needed to overcome or at least TRY to overcome the "DEADLY rich-ignoring-the-poor dilemma" at the center of the New Testament message. Dickens' Scrooge finally got the point, but....
