Our good friend, the honest Canadian philosophical scholar George Grant, who was more conservative than leftist, once said that ‘it is very difficult if not impossible possible for the majority of the people to shake free of the dominant assumptions of their society’s worldview carried by its elites and its dominant media.’ 

The little left of center Canadian publication, The Maple, has summarily and briefly documented the problem over the past 25 yrs pertaining to ‘our’ view of Iran and possibly the West’s mainstream justification for this outrageous War begun by the US-Israeli ‘military-industrial complex’. What’s Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney’s position on this ….. ??? well, what has come out of his mouth so far gives striking relevance to Grant’s plain spoken and relatively simple generalization that has a point, a point that is highly relevant for this tragic unnecessary “WAR” …..
