Dear all,
Before sharing the most updated information about the Lonergan Workshop, I want to take a moment to let everyone know that we have lost two of our most beloved members of the Lonergan community in the last month: David Oyler passed away on May 7th (obituary linked here), and Mark D. Morelli, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymout University, who taught at LMU for forty years, passed away on May 27th. More information on Mark’s legacy and his obituary is forthcoming. We will be remembering both David and Mark, as well as Sue Lawrence, at the Workshop this year, and trust you will keep them and their families in your prayers.
The 53rd Lonergan Workshop begins this Monday at 3:30 PM (Eastern). We will be livestreaming the lecture sessions of the Workshop on Zoom again this year (information and schedule below).
If you are local, it is not too late to join us in person. Overnight rooms at the Connors Center are booked, but you are very welcome to come to any of the sessions, receptions, or dinners.
