An outstanding opportunity is available for computational researchers to join a world-leading group of biomedical research universities and institutes. We seek to recruit and develop the best early career scientists, supporting them in an environment that fosters academic excellence and creativity to become the leaders of the future. Fellows will have a choice of host institution among the partners and will receive generous start-up funding.
The consortium of Medical Bioinformatics partners offers an outstanding environment for computational research. There are excellent opportunities for wet/dry collaborations across the range of biomedical and clinical research disciplines, supported by a strategic alliance with major UK initiatives such as the Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research and Genomics England. There may be the possibility for Fellows to be based at the Farr Institute London or within Genomics England depending on skillsets offered and research interest. The successful Fellows will have access to excellent computational facilities including a state-of-the-art data centre, eMedLab.
