Hey all,

What's your opinion of an IDE for C++ on windows? Microsoft Visual
Studio C++ is just annoying as it doesn't conform to standards (what a
surprise) such as ! for not etc. I'm looking at Code Blocks right now
so any advice you have would be appreciated.

Cheers

Daniel

Have you thougth about developing QT based apps? If so you might want to look into QTCreator. It is quite new but looks good and have the QT and nokia folks behind it:
http://www.qtsoftware.com/downloads

Personnally I have not done much C based development. You can always roll back to eclipse + C addins. I am used to eclipse so if I would have to choose I would go for this one:
http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/

Cheers,
Carl

yes I've looked at QT but chose wxWidgets as there seems to be more
acceptance and support for it. I'll look into eclipse too. Thanks.

Dear All,
Hi friends,How are you hope everyone are fine.I have one doubt.

Is it possible to test the android applications with out the source code dependency?

For example :
I have an android mobile in my hand with android applications installed in it.
I dont have the source code.

Can I map the KeyEvents to test the application ?

I  know that each and every application are bundled in a highly secured manner ,in such a way we can't access the applications.

In case if my test case applications are signed with the same signature of those applications with those installed in the mobile, can I write test the appplication via Positron? .
Without an activity involved in the test case ,can I map the Keyevents, with the applications involving same signature ?

Is there any way to test the app. with oot the source code

cheers,
Prasanna.B
