Update: Solidarity Mass - PERU EARTHQUAKE

SOLIDARITY MASS IN AID OF THE  VICTIMS OF PERU EARTHQUAKE

 

Thank you to everyone who attended the mass last wednesday 22nd August at the Brompton Oratory, Kensington, London.

 

During the mass a collection was made in support of the victims of the earthquake and I am pleased to inform  that a total of £700.21p was collected (£505.21p in cash and £195.00 in cheques) the amount was  announced  by the Peruvian General Consul at the end of the Mass.

 

A letter of acknowledgement  from the Peruvian General Consul has been received  together with the Bank receipts (see below) confirming that the money has been deposited into the account  opened by the Peruvian Embassy to help the victims of the disaster.

 

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Paul Clark and Paul A. Fisher for their generosity in offering to pay the costs of the church and the Organist.  Also to the Peruvian Consulate for providing the  Peruvian Flag.
