London's Unofficial Thames Festival Latin Party

Sunday 16 September, 2pm-2am

The Yachtclub, Temple Pier, London WC2R 2PN

Nearest Tube: Temple (District & Circle Lines)

Entry: £5

DJs Hernan Atencio (Venezuela) & Ruben Cordero (Bolivia) host the unofficial Latin party across the river from the Mayor's Thames Festival.

The party is a celebration of Latin culture and invites a selection of London based DJs who share the same eclectic mix of alternative Latin beats.

DJs, promoters & producers who take part include:

Rafael Morales (Novalima) - One of the finest new Latin producers and a key member of Peru's Novalima. Signed to Manu Chao's label in France.

Le Pico - DJ and producer of some of Venezuela's biggest new acts including Los Amigos Invisibles.

DJs Arias & Springfield (Movimientos) - The dons of London's revolutionary Movimientos club night. One of the finest in the capital.

Javier Goyes - Colombian DJ and musician with close links to Mexico's Kinky and other key alternative Latin acts.

Hernan Atencio & Ruben Cordero - King Conga DJs with around two decades in the Latin scene.

King Conga will be held at The Yachtclub (Boat in the river Thames), a short walk across the river from this year's Thames Festival, and one minute walk  from Temple tube station. There will be cool new Latin beats and Latin barbecue during the afternoon and a great view of the festivals' carnival parade followed by the finest view of the fireworks display in the evening, all mixed in with some of London's finest DJs playing soulful Latin tunes.
