Hi,

Each of these links leads to an O'Reilly web page for a free book:

So you have to be signed up with O'Reilly, and it would appear you'll
be putting your name down for each of their mailing lists.

Its taking me ages to whittle down which book I'm after from each one,
its cunning of them since I have to read up on the alternatives in
order to decide.

Hi Geoff,
thanks very much for the same. I have to admit the level of
cheekiness of OReilly is a bit too much. I have full Safari access,
now they don't allow me access to the latest ( e.g. strata) conference
video's since they introduced products ....
regards
Anish

I imagine they have to alter their business model as the world alters.

The company I work out has business focused publications and makes a
large amount of money from the conferences, I daresay that O'Reilly
has to do likewise to stay in business.

I imagine with everyone chanting BigData now that the Strata
conferences are far more in demand.

Although I'd like to add my own gripe in turn.

What is it about webcasts? People use them to publicise their
technology, or promote their agenda, but they use crappy audio and
dodgy video. It is almost as though they haven't got a clue.

Although I'm cursed by living next to the Underground track, try
filtering that out.
