About Consenteye

Consenteye is a startup on a mission to develop a world-class privacy management solution. The solution will be delivered as a SaaS web application, focusing initially on the needs of medium sized enterprises. Data protection and privacy generally, is an increasingly hot issue for society, given the ever-increasing amount of personal information being captured, stored and processed. The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in May 2018. The related UK Data Protection Bill is also expected to become law next year. Both laws are intended to overhaul data protection and privacy for the digital age, empowering people to take control of their data, providing them with new rights and introducing much stronger sanctions for malpractice.

Consenteye is positioned extremely well in what is forecast to be a rapidly expanding market for privacy compliance solutions.

Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic startup with incredible growth potential. You will report to the CEO and play a key role in the development and delivery of Consenteye’s SaaS platform. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a high performance development team
• Lead the development and execution of an ambitious platform strategy
• Ensure high quality, perpetual service delivery to clients
• Communicate the company’s technology strategy to management, staff, partners, clients and stakeholders

Experience & Skills:

• Proven leadership ability
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver world class web applications
• At least 4 years experience managing web application development
• Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework
• Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications
• Familiarity with information security and risk management (ISO 27001)
• Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry security requirements
