I work for the Talent team here at Depop, and we’re currently on the hunt for a Senior Scala Engineer!

We are a growing technology business, responsible for the hugely popular Depop app; a social marketplace where over 500,000 daily users come to buy, sell and be inspired.

From an engineering viewpoint, our major challenges revolve around building performant and scalable apps with new features as our user base increases (currently at 12 million registered and counting...🚀).

If you have a deep understanding and good production experience of Scala and its ecosystem, apps serving RESTful-content, RDBMS, and an AWS-based (inc. Terraform) infrastructure - we’d love to hear from you!
