Wiki Pages

I've made a start on some wiki pages. There's a home page at
http://wiki.hackspace.org.uk/wiki/Projects/USBGroup with equipment and
resources pages underneath. Please add stuff. Should we have a sub-
section for projects or put them in the general wiki projects area?

I'm away for a couple of weeks so the next Sunday I'll be there is 22
May. I hope by then that FTDI will have updated their Toolchain so the
HIDslavekbd app works. Or maybe someone will have got a Vinculo to
work as a USB device?

Hello Paul and others wanting a free lpcxpresso board.

Then on the right hand side near the top click the picture which says
"Get it for free"

All that we need to do is create a video or a picture of us destroying
an 8bit cpu - pretty easy, perhaps if we all did this we would each
then get one to tinker with. I did this earlier this year and they
sent me one pretty quick.

There's a vinculo toolchain version 1.4.0 on the ftdi site and a patch
SP1 for it. Is this the version that fails ?

Yes, 1.4.0 is the culprit. I've just looked at ftdichip.com - SP1 will
hopefully resolve the problem "The patch addresses issues including
USB Host enumeration time, VNC1L compatibilities and USB slave
stability". Let me know if you can get the USBSlaveHIDKbd sample to
work.
