10 Tonne Hydraulic Press

Hi,

Does anyone have any information about the the 10 tonne hydraulic press?

Specifically if you know whether it is known to be working or broken?

(it is currently on the floor of the metalshop between the lathe and the welding area)

I tried it yesterday it seemed like it wasn't working - pumping the handle gave little resistance and no movement from the piston. The release valve was closed when I tried it.

I will gladly order the correct hydraulic oil to top it up and see if that solves the issue, but being a new member I wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about it first! :-)

Can anyone offer any info on it?
