I've been working on a web server based on twisted and I've finally
got my head around all the building blocks of what I need to do (I
hope).

Currently I can send an ajax button push, get that turned into the udp
datagram by the webserver, associate the device id with a student and
set up a long poll ajax request to listen for any updates to the
device (listening on udp and then activating the webserver).

So now I'm going to try and flesh out the application. With things
like the message format sent to the buzzer devices. I'll put some
proposals out there in a bit.

I'm going to be in and around the hackspace until Wednesday if anyone
wants a chat about what they are doing. Let me know when you might be
around, and also if you can't make it if we arrange to work on
something.

After that I won't be around until Monday the 11th. And from then it
is only 6 more days until the hackweekend.

We need to think about visiting the schools as well... any volunteers?
