I am a MA Textile student in UAL. I am working on magnetic textile right now, but it is so limited of technology. I have no science and technology back ground. Magnetic textile it is a cutting edge topic in textile area. I want create some levitating fabric(zero weight),or movement fabric use magnetic way. It can be any form of art, not just limited on fabric. It can related of human body(sensory), interior, performance. It is also gonna be a part of my PHD starting point. I already got 1000 pounds funding support as a start. If any one who are interested in this project or have some thoughts or you already have project you are working on right now is related this kind of project, we can discuss about it.
I accept any ideas and exiting to do any experiments. Hope we can go though this new technology together and have fun.

ferrofluids are 100% fun if you're into magnets.

I'm pretty sure someone could make something awsome with a combination of electroluminescent paint and Electroconductive paint
