It doesn't seem like something for upstairs. Is there a reason not to store / use it downstairs ?

There is 0 need for a slab to be stored upstairs. I already suggested in the cage on the last storage request. If that's not suitable (which it should be, it's a slab) then in the middle workshop.

The slab is stored in a place where it is not in the way of anything else. When being worked upon it only needs to be moved a few metres (it is heavy!). For these reasons I suggested storing it where it is.
