There is now a low speed tool sharpener with the Lathe please do not hack, this machine will fail if used with Brute Force.

It is stored with the Machine Tool Bits and Fittings

Isn't a low-speed sharpener more commonly used for woodworking tools ?
Not saying it isn't a great asset though.

No not if it is used properly :-) but it is often used in that space too

Can you do a wiki entry please ?

It's especially useful if operation isn't obvious and makes somewhere
to point people if it's being abused.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but by a low-speed grinder, I'm thinking of
something like this :

http://www.axminster.co.uk/tormek-shoptormek/

because the thin edge of a carbon-steel woodworking tool can't handle much heat.

Whereas all the literature I've seen on lathe tools expects something
like this :

http://lautard.com/tinker.htm

which can remove plenty of material, because a metalworking lathe tool
is HSS, thick and square-cornered and expected to get moderately hot
in use.
