This is a simple way to share the burden on occasionally forgotten
cleaning and misplaced stuff. If you always clean your stuff, and the
mess you done, but also clean/fix one more thing that someone else
forgot. Almost all people forget something sometimes!
And there might be spoiled/antisocial or just confused people that
need a confronting reminder that their mess is disturbing and
problematic for someone else.

Yes!

It was the best method i ever found when house-sharing.

Sounds perfect, plus each time you'll do this "+1 more thing" other
members will realise/remember it's the space cleaning policy.

Yes, great, and pretty close to what I try to remember for each visit:
I do something for myself, and something for the space.

Even if it's only to clear up a small mess that someone else forgot.
I recommend it for the warm, fuzzy feeling of being a contributor, not merely a user!

And it's true, we all sometimes forget.

When applying this to house-shares, it also helps deal with the
problem of entropy, eg. the sweeping and hoovering that needs doing
regularly.

+1 going to start doing this. Amazingly simple idea, and makes things
better for everyone.

Hell, I'm going to start doing this at the office.

Speaking of "things" to do, is there a very simple list of things that
need doing at the space somewhere?

I'm not just talking about cleaning or whatever though, what about
problems that need solving "somehow", fun things that need making,
moving, fixing, documenting, guinea pigging. Oink.

If this is somewhere public it may encourage people to do more
creative projects where the space benefits.

I'm slightly concerned for Russ' mental health in asking this question
because it's probably on the website/wiki somewhere...

similar to the "infrastructure" link but a lot more general and full
of open challenges.
