Hello Everyone,

I am a new member, and I joined in part because I would like to get my 9-year-old son involved in maker activities. I was looking for something for him to do this summer when I came across a website that seems to be a DIY maker camp (http://makercamp.com/). I was wondering if there were any other parents at LHS would might be interested in creating some sort of maker summer camp experience for our kids. I've come across some robotics camps for kids in London, but they are mind-blowingly expensive. I have time to contribute to something like this because I'm not working right now, but no skills really.

Anyone interested?

Tara

I don't know the plans for this year but the last EMF had a kids section and lots of events open to kids.
