I need to get a bit of steel for welding - about 3mm thick, 1m x 0.5m which'll eventually be used for cooking on! Is there any in the space at the moment or does anyone know of somewhere to get some?  Making a potbelly stove.

1mm sheet, we've got some, not sure if there's as much as you need.
3mm, i don't think we've got any...

Lewis and Sons on the Hackney Road, are reasonably-priced, and local,
though their website sucks.

If it's just steel shells that you need, then i've got a couple of
empty helium gas cylinders going spare, though i'm not sure if they'll
be as thick as you want...

Not sure what is in the space at the moment, but these people are not far away:
http://www.onestopmetalshop.co.uk

They are on Hackney Road, just past the new (hopefully) space.

That's Lewis and Sons.

Their website is atrocious... :))
