Hackspace Location Update & London Craft Week 12–13th of May

Good news everyone! We have secured an interim space in a large warehouse, that would allow us to operate in a limited capacity, while we work on a more permanent arrangement.

The space in question is with the Republic of Park Royal[0] (RoPR), in their EX2 project warehouse at:
  41–43 Standard Road, Park Royal, Ealing NW10 6HF

Furthermore, London Craft Week[1] is taking place in a week's time, and the EX2 warehouse is one of the official locations on the 12th and 13th of May. The RoPR have kindly invited us to set up a stall and showcase the Hackspace. We believe this would be a great opportunity to reach out to potential new members and supporters.

We would like to have a few eye-catching pieces of equipment to show off the kinds of things we do, and we will inevitably need some help setting things up.

This is extremely short notice, but if you are available—especially during daylight hours—we would love to hear from you. Over the next week we need spare hands to help us move the equipment, and to set-up various displays et cetera.

On Friday and Saturday (12th and 13th) of next week, we want as many members as possible to show off their projects, or even just to talk to the public. It'll also be a great time to catch up with people you've not seen in a while, as well as to partake in some of the other workshops and talks[2] happening at EX2.

Hi,

Is there any further update on the arrangement with the venue, and can you expand on what "Interim" and "more permanent" means, including time frames?

I assume some of this has been discussed on Discord but as the majority(?) of paying members aren't actually on Discord and we've never officially moved away from the mailing list, it would be great if we could get a more meaningful update as to what's going on.
