Soldering request/enquiry

Hello there at the Hackerspace, 

I am currently working on a project where I am aiming to make my Mini DV camera tapeless. This requires me to connect a mini DVR to the AV jack of the Mini DV camera via a TRRS 4-pole connector. After some research, I have managed to come up with a diagram that will allow this connection via two TRRS 4-pole cables. Here is the diagram; 

Panasonic NV-GS11EB TRRS (source):
Tip = Video
Ring1 = Audio R
Ring2 = Audio L
Sleeve = Ground

Mini DVR TRRS (destination):
Tip = Audio L
Ring1 = Audio R
Ring2 = Video
Sleeve = Ground

I was wondering if i would be able to either use the space to personal work on this and solder it myself or if there was anyone more experienced that i can liase with for advice?
