So far I've paid about £60 in subsidies on the understanding that I was subsidising my training, in welding specifically.

Three months in no such opportunity has arisen for me to learn welding and I feel disappointed and let down - I dont see the logic in continuing with this any further and I would like to talk to someone about my money being refunded - I could ave used it to just buy a class in welding by now.

Membership subs are not "subsidies" but subscriptions -- and there is no promise of "training" at all.  LHS requires you to undergo an induction to use the welding gear, however this is not training - it's simply an induction to ensure that you can use the equipment properly and safely.  If you need lessons in welding you should probably take the class in welding...

Simon,

Good Evening.

We can all be padantic with words but either case there was an obligation to undergo induction before being able to progress onto anything else - this induction was never provided through no fault of my own.

Hackspace continued to take my money knowing fully well they could not meet their own obligation to new memebers - unsporting in the very least!

Out of common decency will Hackspace not consider just refunding the subs that I have paid so that I can actually afford welding tutorials from somewhere that can/will deliver them?

Please cancel my subscription.

Kai
