Nikon Coolscan 5000

Hi Everyone, 

Glad to have the Hackspace back open. Hope you are all well! 

I was here today looking to scan my film negatives, and I was told someone was gifted some of the darkroom equipment, namely the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000. 

I wanted to know if this was taken to another community workshop, and if I'd be able use the scanner/equipment. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
