My brother-in-law recently passed away, and I have been tasked with disposing of his extension collection of equipment, which includes the following list (which means absolutely nothing to me):

  • Anytone AT-5189 25 Watts FM 66-88MHz 4M Mobile Transceiver, 25 channels.
  • Harvard H-403 Good Buddy, FM 40ch CB 27/81 Transceiver, incl. Harvard microphone
  • LDG Z-817 automatic antenna tuner
  • MFJ 1270C VHF/HF packet TNC & Digital Multi-mode Controller
  • MFJ-993B IntelliTuner Automatic Antenna Tuner
  • MFJ-949E Deluxe Versa Tuner II (No connecting cables).   (Never used: unopened)
  • Philips FM1000 VHF Radio c501161 with Philips FM1000 microphone
  • Realistic Pro-25 100-channel Portable Scanner 20-9505, Handheld HF/VHF/UHF (unused)
  • Realistic DX-302 Quartz Synthesized Comms Receiver; tunes 10kHz to 30 MHz
  • Standard C-5900 DA triple band 50/144/450 MHz mobile FM Transceiver,  VHF/UHF+, with microphone and power lead
  • Standard power booster CPB510DA 144/450 MHz. “E” version set for UK amateur bands
  • Standard CAW593 Extension Cable
  • Yaesu FP-1030A 110V Linear 25A Power Supply w/Meters
  • Yaesu FT-847 VHF/UHF all mode dual band transceiver with Yaesu dynamic microphone MH-81
  • Yaesu Mh-31 b8 microphone

There is also a variety of antennae and cabling.

Before putting all this on Ebay, perhaps someone may be interested in bidding for particular items?   The equipment has been moved to my house in London NW5, so could be viewed.   Please reply to   majo...@talktalk.net

Hi Michael,

Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. There's a number of radio amateurs who are members that may well be interested, but if you don't get much interest it might be worth reaching out to Harrow Radio club - They regularly help sell equipment and charge a 10% commission. You may get more for it on Ebay ( Although they do try to get a fair price ) but it might be less hassle if thats your preference.

Thanks
Matthew

I'll also forward that to the Hammersmith club with this week's meeting notification as there are some 4m and 2m/70 all-mode users there who might be interested.

Thanks,

JJ
