As you may be aware there's been a big push over recent weeks to get our new member box storage system built and rolled out. I'm happy to say that after a lot of effort there's a good initial run of boxes in existence and ready to be issued. Details: https://wiki.london.hackspace.org.uk/view/Member_Storage_Boxes We'd like to give 'first dibs' to those who actively worked on building them, at either January's community day or in the weeks following. If you are one of those people, please head in and claim a box in the next couple of weeks. If you didn't actively help build this initial run of boxes, if there are any left you can claim one of the ones remaining boxes built by the other members starting from Monday 24th March. We have another community day coming up on Saturday 29th march. The best way to get yourself a box will be to come along on that day and help put a few together! LHS spent a significant chunk of money on the materials for these boxes. If you're able to make a £5 donation towards the material in your box it would be appreciated (https://london.hackspace.org.uk/donate.php) By the way - to claim a box is a simple process. 1) Please don't take a box if you don't intend to use it, there's a limited amount 2) Find an empty box with no label on it 3) Go to the Membership_Kiosk, tap your card on the reader, and print a member box label sticker. 4) Stick the label to your box, and you're good to go! Note the sticky labels currently in the printer are oddball ones with perforations in, be careful how you go peeling the back off but they are functional Taking this opportunity to thank all the box builders we can remember working on this so far - there are many other who's tags I can't remember, but you know who you are
