The automatic feed is temporarily out of action. The lead screw has popped out of its bushing.I don't exactly know how it happened but suspect it was just a question of time, as the assembly has always been a bit flakey.
It simply needs popping back in to its bushing, however if like the crosstable screw, when this fails to engage, the cross table needs to be removed to re-engage.
Its possible that the carriage/apron assembly may need to be removed before the lead screw can be re-positioned. Hopefully have a good look at it tomorrow.

I have fixed a do not use notice to the lathe as the lead screw engage lever is stuck in the middle, it is effectively off but there is the possibility it may engage.

Thanks Steve, both for the update and also (hopefully) a fix!

Automatic feed now up and running. A spring pin had sheared. Easier to fix than I had anticipated, however the screw feed lever is now stuck in the 'on' position which is not so easy to fix, Ian and I will schedule in a repair. In the meantime the lathe is perfectly usable and poses no overt danger it just means the manual feed handle at the far right of the lathe bed will always be turning. I'll fix a notice to the lathe regarding this issue.

Cheers
Steve
