After a quick diagnosis, both joysticks need replacing due to missing components, while we're at it we might as well replace the buttons with something nicer (that light up!), I have sourced components from arcadeworlduk.com.

I was thinking getting 3 blue and 3 green switches for each side, if we want colour matching joysticks we have to pay a little more (but they are better made)

The total comes to £45, I have opened up a pledge linked below, I'd love to see it working fully again!

Update:

all the components came today except one was wrong so a replacement is being sent tomorrow, got player one wired in and working fine. Everything was going too well so I decided to short out the shuttle PC power supply whilst searching for 12v to pull off a molex.

This kills the power supply. :(

Does anyone have or know of a place to get a spare one for cheap? I have already spent my allotted dosh so I cant provide anything. :(

If anyone has a spare tower that can run XP well that they could donate that would be extremely helpful!

I used a power supply that was knocking around to test the shuttle pc, turns out I only damaged the power supply which is thankful.

While I was at it, I couldn't help myself..... I'm so sorry!

I might have got it working.
(Props to anyone who can guess the game being played)

Still to do:-
Replace 2 locks
Clean up woodwork
Fit missing T-molding
Cut holes for fans in the back
Get an fit a proper power supply.

Great work. The game being played is Final Fight, I think.

Cheers.

Steve.

What type of power supply do you need? I may be able to source one, but its only 200W.  Its a bit old, but was working ok last time it was used I believe its currently in my brothers old shuttle, but will retrieve it if its needed
