Mitsubishi AC hacking

I am trying to get an Arduino hook up with a Mitsubishi AC system but it seems tricky. 

I have few Mitsubishi Fden140: http://www.orionairsales.co.uk/mitsubishi-heavy-industries-air-conditioning-fden140v-ceiling-145kw--48000btu-heat-pump-inverter-70-p.asp

There is the main thermostat which is connected with 3 Wires ( picture attached ) but I have no idea where I can find some information about what these cables do.

Probably 2 of them carry power ( V+, GND ) and the 3° is like signal.

Can someone help me out to find out some more information about this system? Or How to try to hack it'

so you are saying that my theory is right?  2 cables carry Power and Gnd ?

This looks like mains wiring, with mains in and mains out.
please don't actually connect it to your pc... (I'm scared now)

I am aware about high voltage, but these 3 cables go inside the AC unit and the screen should work with low voltage ( I hope ).

Just trying to found out more info about this device, like electrical schema ,etc..

Can you wire it up normally to the AC unit, first ? it's usually easier to work out what the wiring is if it's functioning.

Everything is working now, I would like to hook up the 3 AC into one arduino and try to make a smart thermostat.

I can try to check which one is the 2 main power supply.

What I understood is that the data cable only goes from thermostat to the unit? There isn't any feedback?

The data might go bidirectionally along one wire, or data in the other direction might be shared with power. There are various possibliities.

Try to dtermine if one of the pins is ground, first. Is one connected to some of the large copper areas on the PCB ?

Not sure that this AC works in that way, because from the thermostat you can change the orientation of the "blades", make the fan running faster or slowly.

IT would be like this if the thermostat has just a few functions.. but it has a fully complete system :)

The thermostat should be this one http://www.ampair.co.uk/files/RC-E5%20Hard%20Wired%20Controller%20Operation%20Manual.pdf but the remote controller infrared doesn't work, it might not be installed in the unit
