I just noticed an easy build script for making the msp430 toolchain work
under linux:

I'm pretty sure there are people here who will find it useful :)

Err, actually not so useful, it pulls the sources down with git, and uses
600Mb+ with the complete history :(

and also dosn't compile for me.
