Anyone interested in a bunch of these LED strings. Mostly leftovers from projects and unrealised dreams. Most work afaik. Can drop them off at the hackspace any time that's convenient within the next two weeks.

I could definitely use a lot of those, I have a plan to light up the front of a building at Christmas.

darn - when I saw the header I though it was something we could use for lighting in the space

Not really suited to that sort of application, but they are waterproof
which is great for what I have in mind. Would these be useful instead:

I have a lot of those, and can probably spare a thousand pixels if
they are useful for lighting up the hackspace.

Yup these are more suited to being pretty outdoors than lighting an inside space. I think I'll arrange a time to drop them off at the hack space tomorrow and then people can self-organise to take as many as they want?
