Hey all,
Russ suggested I email the list.
Some of you may have heard of the new movement to make computing at schools exciting again!
As the new school year is only a few weeks away they are looking for more volunteers as quite a lot of schools have expressed interest. In fact they just told me they are currently 16,791 volunteers short.
If you love hacking and can teach basic concepts of programming to a class of kids I encourage you to join up at http://codeclub.org.uk/getting-started/Volunteers/
Linda was hoping to talk to those attending the EMF camp but she's managed to puncture her lung... in Mongolia, so she may not be able to make it. But she is hanging around #codeclubhq on IRC so if you have questions, you know where to go.
Would love to see some of you sign up
