Interesting.
I used it on Saturday with Inkscape 0.92.4-9 on Arch Linux
without problems.
I'll try with Inkscape 1.0 next time I'm at the space.

I found a problem with Inkscape 0.92 with Linux which meant that, when using the "export/plot" extension, the cutter made an extra, unwanted, cut as it return the blade to the origin.
This is a problem as the alternative of using the Inkcut extension, which doesn't have the same problem, is now deprecated.
Another SC631 user has identified a fix to this problem, which also occurs in Inkscape 1.0, which is now in beta.
This other user and myself are trying to get the problem sorted so that when Inkscape 1.0 is released the "export/plot" extension works without needing further editing.
If there is anyone involved in London Hackspace who is keen to keep future versions of Inkscape working with vinyl cutters can I suggest that they go to https://inkscape.org/, register or sign in to the Inkscape Forum, click on the "Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters" tab and then read the thread on "Vinyl cutter - when using export/plot extension cuts as it returns to origin" thread?
Hopefully if we pool our efforts Inkscape will continue to be usable in the future.
Thanks.
