Dear Brethren,
I feel so blessed to know and be related to such wonderful people like you!.. You are all beautiful - boys too and I mean that!
Martin - Francis thank you for highlighting this prayer and point of need in your mail attached.
While watching news on TV, the plight of the people in the Somalia if I remember correctly was being presented in a sorry way. Some people where helping the sick, malnourished and so on and my little son said to me dad those people must be Christians!
I didn't know so I said to him maybe, I suppose so.
The scripture in Jn 4:11-12 reads; Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No man has seen God; if we love one another God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
Our God has picked us up and wants to hold us up to the world so that we can sparkle like a diamond!
A diamond on the floor is like any other broken glass. But in the right setting (in God's hand) any man/woman boy or girl can shine, glistering, sparkle as they catch the light. Take a look at this Heb 1:3 ..the son reflects the brightness/ radiance of God’s glory and is the exact representation/ likeness of God’s own being,
sustaining the universe with his powerful word.
You and I are that diamond and our light will, is and should shine our and make a difference in our college, school, work place, church, home wherever God has placed us! Consider this Heb 2:12 Jesus is not ashamed to call us his brothers …He says I will tell my brothers what you have done.. he also says here I am with the children God has given me.. Jesus himself became like us and shared in our human nature Heb 2 vs14.
Remember, in the beginning God created us in his image, in his likeness! This makes all the difference and must matter to us. I know we already pay attention to our images (how much money, education, children, car, house, wife, boy/girl friend, family background etc). Let us pay attention to the correct image first and all these things will be ours as well.
We must resemble God or represent him properly through our character dispositions and personalities. For God has given us: Life; confidence; joy; faith (expectations); the ability to subdue our environment (conquer).
He has stamped his image on us and wants us to stamp his image on the world!
The trouble is He is not the only one with this in mind. But let us resist the devil and he shall flee and draw near to God so that he can draw near to us and give us more of his light!
All others loving others out there through your church or other charity a big God bless you.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
You recall the flooding issue in August between Ghana and Northern Uganda. It was not a joke. The problem has persisted and finally caught up with Central Kampala.
The country is hosting the Common Wealth Conference next week in its capital and attached are snaps of that capital this morning where the conference will be held.
More prayers for our dear nations.
