Hello all,

I'm writing to you to ask who'd you'd like to see speak and what you'd like to do at the next meetup.

I've already contacted Donald Curtis of MELPA fame:

He can do any Monday to Wednesday during next month.
Which is good, since SkillsMatter can provide the venue only for Monday to Thursday.

What are your thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks
Alex

Hello again,

the second person I've approached is Oleh Krehel:

Some of his packages:

He could potentially discuss some of his packages and demo them.

What do you think?
What would you like to see?
What kind of format would you like the presentation to be?
Suggest away!

Thanks
Alex

Hello,

the meetup is on Monday 24th ath 18:30.

Below are bios for the speakers:

Oleh Krehel is an applied mathematician from Ukraine, currently
working in the Netherlands. He has been writing C++ for around 10
years, mostly in academia. Switched to industry 2 years ago, currently
working at TomTom. Author of hydra, swiper, avy, lispy.

Donald Curtis is a former Vim user who defected to Emacs while working
in academics because he wanted to learn functional programming. In
2011 he received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has been working in
industry for the past 4 years after a two year stint teaching.

You've probably used his software if you've used MELPA

The meetup page coming up & SkillsMatter page as soon as it gets published.

Thanks
Alex
