Hello all,
On behalf of the organisers, I wanted to inform you that we are going to proceed to delete the “jobs” mailing list. We believe the jobs list doesn’t have the value it used to have when it was initially created. Places like Clojurians Slack #jobs or #jobs-discuss are doing a better service informing the community about the job market almost in real time. Since this will likely bring back [JOBS] posts here, the list is going to be moderated from now on.
Another reason to close “jobs" is that we don’t have the time or energy to react promptly to moderate multiple lists in situations such as the one that we experienced recently. All considered, we prefer to dedicate our attention to this list and initiatives like virtual or physical meetups, workgroups or conferences.
While we are here, if you want contribute some of your time to help London Clojurians organising more exciting activities, please feel free to contact london-clojur...@gmail.com
