Dear Hackers of London,
I write in seaerch for a work-shop and viewing area for my planned
expirement, http://amsterdamjoe.sdf.org .
It is my goal to test an array of probiotic liquids' effect on plant
growth. To that end, i have designed in CAD a simple expiremenal bench to
hold five liquids, and a pump rack to periodically flow liquid onto
plants.
I imagine wood-working the expiremental bench and rack within one week,
and observing the expirment for three weeks to record plant growth.
Do you have the facilites for such consturction and is it possible to use
it for this purpose?
Thank You,
Joe

HI Tom,
Did you ever release the iGem GM brewing yeast strains?
Regards
Tim
Hey Tim,
I'm not sure what happened to any strains produced during iGEM, but I have part of an answer - GM strains can't legally be released in the UK.
Any GM brewing yeast strains produced for the iGEM project could be used in the London Biohackspace lab by an inducted member, or they could be sent to another lab with BS-1 biosafety certification using a material transfer agreement.
