Measures rainfall to determine rainfall rates, times, and duration; for deployment with most standard tipping-bucket rain gauges. Efficiently gather and store momentary contact events and temperature data. Additionally, gain access to detailed event data, which is only stored at the time of event, for better memory usage. For accurate temperature measurement in sunlight, a solar radiation shield is required (assembly-required RS1 Solar Radiation Shield or pre-assembled M-RSA Solar Radiation Shield).

Data Logging is the recording of collected data over a period of time. Depending on the application, the data can be temperature measurements, voltages, current, humidity, or other signals of interest. A Data Logger is a self-contained data acquisition system with a built-in processor and pre-defined software embedded in the unit. Data loggers can run as stand-alone devices and are popular because they are portable and easy to use for specific tasks.

All data loggers have local storage to save data and some include SD slots for additional memory. Web-enabled data loggers can be configured and share data over a network. For additional portability, some data loggers are battery-powered.

The CR800 is a smaller, research-grade data logger designed for stand-alone operation in harsh, remote environments. It is intended for smaller configurations in which fewer sensors will be measured. Each CR800 reads input from sensors, then transmits the data via a communication peripheral; most sensors and telecommunication devices are compatible. Multiple CR800s can be configured as a network or units can be deployed individually.

The on-board operating system includes measurement, processing, and output instructions for programming the data logger. The programming language, CRBasic, uses a BASIC-like syntax. Measurement instructions specific to bridge configurations, voltage outputs, thermocouples, and pulse/frequency signals are included. Processing instructions support algebraic, statistical, and transcendental functions for on-site processing. Output instructions process data over time and control external devices.

Any 12 Vdc source can power the CR800 datalogger. Power supplies commonly used with the CR800 are the BPALK, PS150, and PS200. The BPALK provides eight non-rechargeable D-cell alkaline batteries with a 7.5 A h rating at 20C.

The CPU of the data logger can be removed and mated with a different CR800 wiring panel. This can be done by removing the four corner nuts on the underside of the CR800. Do not loosen the two middle nuts. Be careful not to damage the pins mating the CPU with the wiring panel.

I have an Omega OM-62 temperature/humidity data logger that I want to communicate (initialize recording, read/write data, end recording) through LabVIEW 8.6. The OM-62 is connected to the PC via a USB-miniUSB type B connector, and I have the supplied "Omega Interface Logger Program" on my Windows operating system. I've called Omega's DAQ help-line but was told that low-level data loggers like this do not have supplied LabVIEW capabilities which I completely understand.

If that isn't provided/available and you really need to communicate with the device you would need to look at using something like a USB/driver sniffer (software? hardware?) to try and intercept the communications between their software and the device. You can then use this information to try and figure out what commands it sends and the response received and how to convert that into the data.

The MAT-1 Data Logger has a wide range of uses on land and at sea. It can be used as a motion sensor to record vehicle use on land or to analyze underwater vehicle dynamics at sea. It can monitor the condition of goods during transit, including orientation, temperature, and vibration. Oceanographers are using the logger as a tilt meter to measure and map ocean currents and temperature on the bottom for fisheries management, current modeling and ecological studies.

Domino Software is Lowell Instrument's Python based, open source software for use with our data loggers and current meters. Domino is used for configuration and control of meters, as well as for conversion of binary data to useful formats which can be opened by your favorite spreadsheet or plotting package for analysis.

The MAT-1 Data Logger uses modern, mass-produced technology, such as magnetometers and accelerometers used in smart phones and game controllers, to create a reliable and affordable data logger. With the included 8 GB microSD card, the logger has thousands of times more memory than most other loggers. This large memory, combined with a low-power electronics design, allows the logger to collect high-resolution data over many months.

ebro has a wide range of data loggers for measuring temperature, pressure and humidity at validation and routine checks as well as for cold chain and process monitoring. The range extends from wireless data loggers for real-time monitoring, via mini data loggers for tight spaces to multi-channel thermocouple data loggers and complete data loggers systems, including evaluation software. The data loggers are available with a variety of sensor types and configurations to fit your application.

The Keysight benchLink data logger 3 software provides a convenient way to collect and analyze your data. The software is a Windows-based application that uses a familiar spreadsheet environment to define measurement data to be collected.

BenchLink data logger 3 software is not dependent on any earlier versions of data logger software. It will install in a separate directory on your PC. You can import the configuration files from previous versions into data logger 3. Data logs collected using data logger 1 or data logger II requires those versions of data logger to export the data.

The UniCAN data loggers from CSM offer a solution for all these requirements. Despite their compact size, the microcontroller-based devices are very powerful. The CSM proprietary file system used for data recording to CF card is optimized for storage rate and data security.

The firmware detects power supply cuts and the removal of the CF card during data recording. No data recorded up to this time will be lost. Data recording is resumed automatically as soon as the card is re-inserted and the power supply restored.

Wide trigger criteria and pre- and post-trigger ranges can be defined per channel/message group. As the capacity of the CF card is the only limit to the size of a pre-trigger, the occurrence of a trigger event can practically contain any amount of trigger data.

In contrast to data loggers with standard file systems, the write access of a UniCAN logger to a memory card is not affected by the increased segmentation of the memory device. The data is compressed during recording.

Data can be transmitted via mobile communications modem while data recording continues without interruption. Measurement data can be read remotely via modem/(S)FTP server (data formats are, for example, MDF or ASCII). For maximum data security, the data transmission is binary.

Important status information can be displayd live via "Live Monitoring" to check configuration and data recording. This makes commissioning much easier. The following information is displayed: Status of the logger (e. g. measurement status, error status, firmware, temperature, position data), status of the measurement (e. g. measurement duration, data quantity), status of the triggers and conditions, system signals, status of the channel groups and message groups as well as current measured values of the configured channels.

The UniCAN 3 ETH is a compact and robust data logger for the acquisition of data from various sources: With the Ethernet interface, nine CAN interfaces, digital inputs and outputs and numerous data transmission options, it can be used flexibly in any measurement task.

With up to 12 CAN bus interfaces, freely configurable digital inputs and outputs, Wake-on-CAN, LAN, WLAN - When developing the UniCAN 3 data logger, numerous requirements from state-of-the-art vehicle development were taken into account.

The RDL8500 remote data logger is a data logger for the TapWatch submetering system. The RDL8500 interfaces to the wireless network for collection of utility consumption data, stores the collected data, and transfers the data to a remote billing server for bill generation. A PC running TapWatch 3 software is used to access the RDL8500. The RDL8500 communicates with both Frequency Agile (FA) and EchoStream wireless networks simultaneously.

TS-100 Temperature and Humidity Data Logger: A small, portable, wireless smart tool that, when paired with a smartphone or tablet running the latest CPS Link app, can measure, record, and email temperature and humidity data such as Dry Bulb, Wet Bulb, Feels Like and Dew Point temperatures, plus Relative Humidity-all on one screen.
