Happy Monday Co-op folks!

Probably our biggest event will be the "Farm to Fork Harvest Festival", which will occur in late Sept or early Oct (since that is when the big IL harvest comes in!).  We need 1 or 2 people to coordinate/lead this event.  The lead event coordinator will be responsible for organizing the event, with the help of volunteers.  We've agreed that any event that is under-staffed will not go forward, so you will have plenty of help (or we will not move forward w/ the event).  Jerry and I are here to help w/ whatever is needed for the event, but we will not have time to serve as leads b/c of all the other work we are doing.  We are in the process of putting together our next Newsletter, which will ask for volunteers to join our major event committees.  But, we need a lead for the Harvest festival before the Newsletter goes out (so that people know who to contact).  This is a great way to gather support w/in our community and highlight all the great work done by local farmers (and the need for a co-op to allow farms to sell their products year-round!).  There is so much potential for this event to have a huge impact!
