He emerged in the Bangladesh film industry as a successful superhero. The film company had got the energy to stand around. He was able to re-enter the audience in the Hal. The producer restarted their investment in the film industry. In the early 1990s when the country's film industry remained motionless, he added a new dimension in the Dhallywood film industry. Through acting and personal style, he created own individualism in the film world of Bangladesh. He conquered the people's mind because of his personalities. He is none other than Salman Shah.
Salman Shah was born on September 19, 1971, in Zakiganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh to Kamaruddin Chowdhury and Nila Chowdhury. He was the eldest son of the family and the original name was Shahriar Chowdhury Emon, although he is called as Salman Shah in the showbiz industry. Salman Shah completed primary education from Bayra Model High school, Khulna. Then he came to Dhaka, admitted Arab Mission School at Dhanmondi and completed SSC from this school in 1987. Salman Shah completed HSC from Adamji Cantonment College and received graduation degree from Maleka Science College, Dhanmondi.
He love to wear colorful dresses and always follow his father. Not only father he always tried to sing like mother Nila Chowdhury and also want to be like her. So his father called his son as 'Follower of Mother'.
Sometimes in childhood Salman made up himself like his mother by using his mother's towel and used to say that 'Look at me , I have become Mom'. Sometimes he used to call his mother as `NilaVabi'. Salman Shah always felt proud to introduce himself as the son of Nila Chowdhury.
Salman shah's childhood passed in Boira because of his father job. he admitted in Boira Model School at the age of Four During admission child Salman pledged to attend examination by sitting on headmaster's seat. And he was permitted to do so because of his attitude. But after the examination it was noticed that he did not write even a single word.
The headmaster asked him, 'What happened to you? You did not write anything. How could you get admission here.' and Salman said that, 'Why? The others have written just one or two topics but I know everything.' After saying this he started to tell from the first page of the book till the last. All the teachers including the headmaster laughed and said that you should come to school from tomorrow.
Salman Shah was much creative and elegant person from his childhood. Salman was expert in singing from childhood. He performed songs in many television programmes from childhood. He got the first training of Harmonium from his mother. He learned by heart all famous songs of Azam Khan. Especially the song titled 'Alal & Dulal' was his favorite song. Mamonia' the song of Ferdaus Wahid was also much endeared to Salman. By singing this song he used to address his mother with saying Mamonia'. Nila Chowdhury tried to make up her son like a generous man from his childhood. 'Nuri &Shole' was Salman's most favorite cinema in his childhood. He watched old movies through VCR which was bought by his father.
Salman's love the foods cooked by his mother specially 'Chicken Roast'& 'Sweet Fry of Big Fishes'. Salman Shah was poetry of his mother life. But she could never think that that poetry would be ended in such a short time. The shining star was soon lost under a dark cloud On September 6, 1996. The film industry and fans alike were shocked by Salman's untimely demise. Failing to cope with the loss of their favorite actor, some ardent fans even took their own lives.
