Hey guys, I may be late but I hope this helps someone. I manage to install the touchscreen drivers in Windows 7. Visit this page and select windows 7 from the OS dropdown list. I installed the single touch driver and it works just fine.

I have Win 10 LTSC working, but require 1 GB ram. Toshiba manufacturer was no help, as they directed me to US/CAN distributor for Toshiba ST-A10-152K-QM-R Anyone know specific 1GB ram to get for this system motherboard?

I have win 10 ent 2019 2 gb ram and seems to work fine. I tested with another product with customer display, scale, scanner 2 drawers and 2 printers. I tried using Samba, but trail did not work using 2 printers. edit post

You will probably need to bin 2x2 (at least) so that you can use short ( ie, 10 sec) exposures. While doing this initial setup, point your scope somewhere near the zenith at a star field that is free of nebulosity so the AF routine has a clean star field to work on.

I am not familiar with the focusers you mentioned but backlash needs to be eliminated. In most ASCOM focuser drivers, you can enter a backlash amount. Probably better to do backlash in the ASCOM driver than in SGP.

If your focuser has temperature compensation, I recommend using it. If the ASCOM driver supports TC directly, better to enable it in the ASCOM driver than in SGP so that the TC adjustments are continuous.

I have smart focus enabled and never had any issues, but I never had the focus fail where the smart focus needed to kick in. maybe just lucky but disabling it, I think, is a good idea for SCTs as well.

Hello guys im having some issues with my focus set up. I used this post to set up my routine with my hyperstar and ASI294MC Pro camera and it worked flawlessly. I have started using a Starizona SCT Corrector III - 0.63X Reducer for galaxy season. I have since used the same process to focus with bad results. I got it to work a couple times but overall it has failed. I am currently using 9 focus points and a step of 95. I have also tried 7 points at a step of 123. My focus graph looks like a W with seven points. I have tried focus times from two seconds to 20 seconds. Any ideas on what I can do to get my focus routine running?

Hi folks, In order to expedite your requests for help, we politely ask that, before posting, you take a look through the help file to see if it answers your question. One is installed with every copy of SGPro and has search functionality. Finally...

I'm looking to buy a Mac Mini for music production and want to do something kinda out of the norm. I wanna get a 32" (perferrably) touch screen monitor to use with the Mac to eliminate the need for a keyboard and mouse. Does anyone know of a good touch screen monitor that will work well with a Mac Mini?

I have a similar need, but probably less complicated. I just want to hook my Mac mini up to a touchscreen monitor that has the proper drivers to work with the latest OSX. I want something that can stand abuse and doesn't have compatibility problems, preferably something that comes in multiple sizes like 15 inch, 17, 21 etc. I see the guy who has the youtube video on installing the mini + touchscreen in his kitchen used an iiyama prolite. they are expensive! is it necessary to purchase such an expensive one? i'm also interested in those who know of a POS system (e.g. the type used in restaurants, made for constant abuse) that works with the latest mac os. thanks for any help. G

Note: Some screens only support two-finger guestures e.g. pinch-to-zoom but not three or four finger guestures. You might want to check with the maker of the screen since OS X supports and uses 3 and 4 finger commands.

It's not the touchscreen I'm having trouble with. I've found a couple that will work. My problem is I'm having trouble finding this "mouse emulator" that I've been looking for. When I say mouse emulator, I'm talking about pretty much taking the track pad and making a digital version of it and putting on the screen to use. In my head it seemed simple enough but I have yet to find something that fits my needs.

Erik - I'm sorry I cannot help you. I remember hearing about a touchscreen that can handle track-pad-like gestures, but I'm not sure if that is what you want, and will have to dig around to find the link.

In the meantime, can you help me? You stated you found a few compatible touchscreen monitors. Can you point me in the right direction for a fairly seamless approach to touchscreen+mac mini? I don't want to get into a situation where I have to have a custom driver built, if possible.

I'm using an 4 wire overlay that was purchased off eBay. No brand name associated with it. I believe the 4 wire models can support dual touch, by the driver descriptions that are available for Windows, but Mac drivers don't.

I have a Mac Mini and a Mac book pro both of which are connect to the same Acer Touch Screen Monitor. I am using it as write this to you.All you need to do is download the free drivers from www.touch-base.com. The basic touch drivers are free. I also purchase the mac gesture drivers for $109 USD and they work great. You can even activate the on screen keyboard in the mac accessibility settings which allows you to have a touch screen keyboard. I also run Parallels with windows 8.1 and when I switch from Mac to PC, both touch screens work perfect. The support staff at touch-base is great.

Up until June 2022, Touch-Base provided Windows, Linux, CE and macOS UPDD touchscreen drivers for TSHARC controllers for new deployment on systems. Installers downloaded will remain installable until September 2022.

Please contact Touch-Base to request an UPDD driver installer for ongoing system maintenance (useable for systems deployed before June 2022) or to align purchasing UPDD drivers for systems deployed after June 2022.

Damn, that sucks. Just curious, are these kiosks on the network, or are they failing? Wondering what the motivation is to upgrade. Have you tried installing Windows XP drivers on the Windows 7 machines?

Once you download your new driver, then you need to install it. To install a driver in Windows, you will need to use a built-in utility called Device Manager. It allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

In the Device Manager window, locate the device for which you want to install or update the driver. You can find devices under their respective categories, such as Display adapters, Sound, Video and Game Controllers, or Network adapters.

Click on the Browse button and navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded driver files. Select the appropriate driver file and click OK. Then, click Next to begin the installation process.
