I had an opportunity to hear your views n stinging suggestions at the " Sahkar Sanskar Parishad" held at Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium on 21 st April 2016 ,arranged by Mumbai District Coop Bank .
The LA Bill passed in Dec 2005 has resulted in poor n merge Success Rate inspite of Special Drives in yr 2013 n 2014 during the tenure of Mr Prithviraj Chavan n off late since Sept 2015 ,as announced by Mr Devendra Fadnavis.
The poor response by Housing Societies is primarily due to the Documents n Process.
It is perceived that this Campaign of Deemed Conveyance is primarily to create Business Opportunities for Legal n Consultant Fraternity n further to the Construction.
I been following with the UD dept (Feb 2010) for Auto Conveyance instead of Deemed Con , as the Housing Societies n their properties r in existence based on approved plans from various agencies. Societies r neither Illegal nor Unauthorised.
Deemed Conveyance must be conferred automatically, on similar principal of Regularisation of Slum Clusters .
A political Will needs to be created.
