The direct question shall be posed to those who have become silent/dormant.
1- Should we leave the effort just because we are facing obstacles or made mistakes, if this was done in 1857, we would have continued under British rule for some more decades. But they regrouped, changed their tactics and strategies and finally made a strong platform, from where gandhi took off in 30's.
2- Should we leave Indian democracy in hands of ideology-less OR dynastic OR regional parties to plunder us and also our next generations or keep building blocks with an ideology, democratic principles and national vision so another Gandhi takes off..
3- If many Indian worked tirelessly since 1857, knowing well that they will not get what they want in their own life time, why then we should be so selfish and not care about security of our next generation as they cared.
I am in search of these answers
Rest assured, my father was not selfish, my leader is not selfish and I am not going to selfish and will continue to work for next generation.
During the journey between 1857 and 1947, hundreds of Indians dropped off but millions continued. Many of us have decided to part of those millions. For many decades after 1857, it was seen as a failed effort totally crushed by Britishers, But they regrouped, changed their tactics and strategies and finally made a strong platform, from where gandhi took off in 30's. Initially I do not know what name they were called but finally name on scene arrived as National Congress. Similarly, I do not know what we will be called finally "Loksatta" or some thing else as we change our strategies and tactics as we are trying to regroup.
