Wash your own plate-it is so easy to do it and at the Loksatta Party Karnataka annual meet on 11th April-we had over a 100 delegates eating well but wasting very little and then each actually washed their plates and glasses. 

It was not only a zero garbage meet as we used no disposables - all steel plates, spoons, glasses for coffee and water and then plastic reusable glasses for "maggije". 

It was a meet with good food for thought and great thought for action Hyma Praveen, Surendra Srivastava, Mukunda Namagondlu,Tara Krishnaswamy, Srinivas Alavilli, Deepak Nagaraj , Phanisai Bharadwaj , Ted K. Dass, Maithreyi Nadapana, and all the other members of Loksatta Party. 

This can be done at all hostels-especially like in St John's medical college-my alma mater.
