Satta.
Plz put your observation regarding emerging need of Lok Satta in
Odisha.

Dear All, Greetings and warm regards. In reply to the topic -Why Lok
Satta is an emerging need in Orissa- I would like to share my opinion.
Orissa being an underdeveloped State and was ruled by Congress for
many more years. People are very simple, hard working and keep little
interest in politics. But after the Cable TV boom and mobile
revolution people here are now connected with the mainstream and
matching them with the latest tends and being informed about things
are happening around in the Other States.
This is the third tenure for the BJD Government because there is no
strong opposition. The Congress party being the only opposition is
busy in internal conflicts, no strong leadership and less
participation of youth.
BJP, however managed well with the ruling Govt. in the last tenure,
but Mr. Navin patnaik broke away with them may be he never wanted
terms dictated terms by them, now reducing their number to a few in
the Assembly. People too know about BJP very well.
Now, it is high time for parties like Lok-Satta to enter in to the
Local Politics of Orissa. Lok-Satta, is more or less known to the
people and Anna's movement made people to know about corruption. Now
Panchayat elections are on the anvil. If Lok-Satta want to establish
here and prepare ground for elections 2014, it is high time to
contest Panchayat elections.

Dear Loksattaits,
We need to have a leader and group of leaders, who are willing to work hard to build an LSP organisation. Wherever they are emerging, we have started chapters.
Is there any one who is willing to take this call from orrissa ore a district/city of orissa??
