That said this is usually an issue with small developers and/or older applications. I'd have thought Amazon would be a big enough company doing frequent enough updates to have gone through the certification process. If you installed amazon music from a 3rd party distributer you might want to reinstall from amazon directly.
Hello Philip and Woodmeister. I spent a long time this morning on a chat with Rohan at Apple support. Apparently it is not a scam, it's a computer generated message. I just thought it looked sinister as it wasn't in the usual 'report to Apple' format. I actually don't subscribe to either Apple or Amazon Music, so was flummoxed by the message. I was advised to bin it and run Malware for Mac which I did. It will be interesting to see what happens when I switch on tomorrow morning. Rohan was excellent and very patient. While I have been using Macs for many years, I'm a dinosaur when it comes to how they work. I just press the button and expect everything to work. I did tell him that I do not like os Catalina at all and wish I had not updated! Hope this helps.
Not Amazon Music, I'm getting the same "insistent" warnings about "HPDeviceMonitoring.framework" and "HP Utility" printer utility software. If anyone has a fix, it sure would be nice to know what it is. Haven't tried to print anything so I don't know if it has disabled printing...
Similar error message -- "Amazon Music" will damage your computer. Your should move it to the Trash. I spoke with someone from support yesterday but we could not get rid of it. I've tried emptying the trash bin, cleaning history, resetting the SMC. Can anyone out there help? Thank you.
What I did: dragged Amazon Music to the trash, emptied the trash, did a re-boot, reinstalled Amazon Music, problem solved. This is apparently a problem with an Apple security facility, but removing and reinstalling the app seems to fix it
I got the same result trying to install Amazon Music app on a new M1 computer running Big Sur. However, I went to Amazon then to Music Library where it suggested downloading the desktop app. It downloaded a Music Installer (which I "thought" I already had...but apparently a newer version) which I ran. It installed the new Amazon music app and I no longer got the message. It seemed to be a clean new installation with no hitches.
I had this come up on my MacBook Air when I tried to connect my android phone. It said that I needed a program called Rosetta, but as soon as I installed it, the "Amazon Music will damage your Mac" message appeared. Couldn't get rid of it, so I asked in the local computer shop - they had no idea what to do so I didn't open the Mac for a while, and when I did (several hours later) the message had gone. However, I don't know whether I need to run a malware scan now - if I do, can anyone recommend one please. Now I just need to be brave and try to connect my phone again!
Ii am thinking about buying a Fitbit Versa mainly for listening to music while I play basketball. But I need to know if there is a way to download the Amazon music app on to it? If there is not a way to download amazon music onto it, then it would be awesome if you made a way to download it! Or have it built right in to the watch in a new update!
Regarding your question, no, there isn't an option to download Amazon music to the Fitbit Versa, for more information about this you can check the help article How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch?.
No, you don't need bluetooth on your laptop to transfer music, it connects through wifi when transferring music not bluetooth, confusing not sure why they've done it like that when the rest of it is on bluetooth but that's how it is.
This is not a solution. We want to be able to use our Amazon music subscription on the Ionic. Do they really expect us to download music to our PC and then sync it with the ionic? Is this 2008 or 2018?
I use Amazon music every workout. It's ridiculous that this is not an option currently. Come on Fitbit, surely if you and Amazon did some quick collaborating you would have an integration for Amazon Music within a day or two, how complicated can a tiny app that plays music from a web service be??
I bought the Fitbit Versa just so I could have my workout playlist on it. I use Amazon Music and I pay for it annually. I do not understand why I can't put my playlist on my watch! So what music CAN I put on my watch?
