Zoom works as it should in Firefox and Safari, but not in Edge/Brave/Chrome. My OS language is set to Norwegian.

Any ideas on how this could be solved? Not being able to zoom using keyboard shortcuts is such a big issue that I've had to switch to Chrome for the time being.

ZoomIt is a screen zoom, annotation, and recording tool for technical presentationsand demos. You can also use ZoomIt to snip screenshots to the clipboard or to a file.ZoomIt runs unobtrusively in the tray and activates with customizablehotkeys to zoom in on an area of the screen, move around while zoomed, and draw onthe zoomed image. I wrote ZoomIt to fit my specific needs and use it in all mypresentations.

The first time you run ZoomIt it presents a configuration dialog thatdescribes ZoomIt's behavior, let's you specify alternate hotkeys forzooming and for entering drawing mode without zooming, and customize thedrawing pen color and size. I use the draw-without-zoom option toannotate the screen at its native resolution, for example. ZoomIt alsoincludes a break timer feature that remains active even when you tabaway from the timer window and allows you to return to the timer windowby clicking on the ZoomIt tray icon.

I'm using Power BI to track multiple enterprise projects and have them entered into a gantt chart [pictured below]. Some projects have multiple year durations so I currently have to scroll quite a bit to see milestones into next year. My current gantt chart is showing roughly 4-5 dates per month, which seems unnecessary for my needs. Is there a way to only show one date a month, or one date every quarter? I'd ideally like to view all projects start to finish without scrolling as it would produce a cleaner visual. My date is synced for Project online and the zoom out function works great on that application- any ideas?

It seems that yo solve this problem , right? If so and if you'd like to, you could mark corresponding post as answer or share your solutions. That way, people who in this forum and have similar issue will benefit from it.

I just got the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and was curious about how the zoom feature was to work. I'm using Windows 7 and in Word, Internet Explorer, or when viewing an image the zoom doesn't seem to do anything.

The zoom lever on this keyboard is supposed to act something like control-mouse-wheel does in a Web browser or Microsoft Office products. You can flick the lever one way or the other and the text or picture zooms in or out.

I finally finished the zoom extension, which allows you to zoom in (and out, with the outside just being black) the screen! Also, thanks to Richard for helping with some debugging in this topic. This could be used to make some cool effects, as well as zoom in when action in your game gets intense! Also, gradual zoom effects will be added soon!

Basically, the number controls how big each pixel gets (e.g. if you set it to 2, each pixel becomes a 2x2 pixel, zooming into the center of the screen.) If you put a variable for the zoom value and run it on game update, you can change that variable slowly for smooth zooming! I also have a demo where pressing up/down will change how zoomed in the screen is!

Previously, people could sit in a conference room with a projector for document presentations, work from their multi-monitor desks, or have easy access to printed content for review. Nowadays, an increasing number of users are consuming most of their content on smaller personal screens, such as laptops, tablets, or mobile phones. With these new shortcuts, the Word Product team is making it easier than ever for you to zoom your document to the right level for your screen.

To restore the keyboard shortcut assignments to their original settings, you can head over to the Customize Keyboard Shortcuts help article. Below you will find a table of the command names which you may want to reset.

Note: The Optional and Nonbreaking hyphen commands are in the Common Symbols category of the Customize Keyboard dialog. All other commands can be found in the All Commands category.

I m working on getting a Microsoft Teams Rooms device to join a Zoom Webinar. it joins normal zoom meetings fine but this particular webinar just throws the generic "404" however if the same link is opened on a normal windows device it pulled up fine. is there a way to disable direct guest join for webinar's?

Hello @arysyth,
My name is Brandon. Thanks for joining the Zoom Community! Meetings and Webinars use the same join link to reach the Zoom servers for Meetings and Webinars. The only thing I can think of is if the host enabled authentication requirements for the Webinar in question. Some Zoom Rooms can join Webinars as a panelist when invited to a Webinar, so I would assume that MTR rooms have similar settings, but that would be a question for Microsoft. From everything I am reading in this reference, -us/microsoftteams/rooms/third-party-join MTR rooms join third party meetings/webinars the same way that Zoom Rooms join third party Video conferencing. Through parsing the join URL in the location field of the event.

from what I can see Authentication (as in logging in with a zoom account) is not required however Registration is turned on. I have not seen anything in Microsoft's for Zoom's documentation on if that has any effect on Direct Guest Join with MTR.

Is there a good method to zoom in and out in Chrome with PAD?

I want to be able to zoom out 50% in Chrome at the start and then at the end zoom back in. I could use send keys and Ctrl + '-' repeatedly and at the end send keys Ctrl + '+' but it seems not the greatest solution. Because if the flow fails when its zoomed out the flow would need to always also need to check if Chrome is zoomed out before using send keys Ctrl + '-'.
