2012.10.16 It’s been a year since the last update of GoldenDict.

2012.10.16 NEW! Selmaho dictionary added. It gives lists of cmavo for each selmaho.

2012.10.16 jbovlaste export mechanism updated. Several bugs fixed. Selmaho dictionary can be accessed from it (by clicking on the names of selmaho in headers of articles).

2012.10.16 NEW! gua\spi dictionary with hyperlinks.

2012.10.16 Thesaurus updated.

2012.10.16 NEW! Tatoeba database as a dictionary.

As usual the dictionaries and Goldendict app can be downloaded free of charge (everything is free and open-source) from

I downloaded all files, and succeeded unpacking sance.zip and pixra.zip. Trying to unpack the others (slovlacukt-ready-to-unpack.zip and ralju.zip) results in a "slovlacukt-ready-to-unpack.zip" error for each file inside.

These didn't work neither with Winrar nor Windows Explorer...

Does anyone get the same error? Are maybe the files damaged?

2012.02.19 Please remove the previous installation (folder) of "Goldendict for Lojban" and unpack this release to a new empty folder (see below for explanations)

2012.02.19 this release has dictionaries compressed to save your disc space, you need to perform a fresh installation of this release to prevent getting file duplicates

2012.02.19 repacked using Windows Explorer zip utility due to possible bug while unpacking.

This time the files worked ok... but I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news.

I installed everything as instructed, started typing a word (tried several times with different words) and the software stops working. Error message is "GoldenDict dictionary lookup program has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available."

FYI, I did not have a previous version of slovacukt/Goldendict in this computer. I'm using Windows 8.

I hope this is a minor issue that can be fixed easily. I'll keep trying.

So Alvaro confirms that now everything works. However, we have a minor update.

2012.02.20 NEW! "UI and brivla correspondences" dictionary.

2012.02.20 fixed more bugs while unpacking the .zip archive using non 7zip utilities.
